The silicone is a naturally non-stick material, and for oven-cooking they need neither pre-heating nor greasing. They can also be washed & cleaned effortlessly. The moulds are in a way, indestructible, baring cuts from other utensils and sharp objects, which need to be kept away from your moulds.
